The festival’s founder Perry Farrell – frontman of Jane’s Addiction – will have a presence at each event with Perry Farrell’s Kind Heaven Orchestra.
Lollapalooza is produced by Austin-based C3 Presents, whose co-founder Charles Attal spoke to Pollstar about all things Lollapalooza ahead of last year’s flagship festival in Chicago.
“Buenos Aires is totally different from Chile, Brazil. And they are totally different sizes,” Attal said. “I think Chile has the best kid’s activation that we have, at [their] Kidzapalooza, that’s a place anybody would go hang.”

“And we learn from all our partners around the world. We try to have best practices and they do too. We’ll see something really cool in one country and we’ll think, ‘Wow, we should try to go do that somewhere else.” … It’s not always perfect, we have heated disagreements that are very productive, but at the end of the day we are all one big family and it works out well.”
The three C3 Presents co-founders – Charles Attal, Charlie Jones and Charlie Walker – all recently confirmed their participation in a panel discussion at the upcoming edition of Pollstar Live 2020.
C3’s talent buyer Tim Sweetwood also recently talked to Pollstar about the new festival Exit 111, which takes place at the same festival site as Bonnaroo.
