Agent Susie Giang has joined Ground Control Touring, bringing clients including Ani DiFranco, Gregory Alan Isakov, Haley Heynderickx, Shook Twins and others.

She comes most recently from APA and, prior to that, Fleming Artists where she spent 10 years and held a VP position.

Giang and her associate George Potter are based in Portland, Ore.

Giang grew up in Michigan surrounded by her large extended family who immigrated there as Vietnamese/Chinese refugees, according to the announcement, and is part of several national associations, including involvement in Folk Alliance International committees and a member of the Recording Academy (Northwest Chapter).

Giang joins Brooklyn-based Ground Control, headed by Eric Dimenstein and known for repping some of the most buzzworthy artists, including Kurt Vile, Angel Olsen, Jenny Lewis, Jessica Pratt, and has a formidable hard rock/metal roster with artists including thrash upstarts Power Trip, doom drone rockers SUMAC, critics’ favs Deafheaven, stoner legends Sleep, and many others.
