The Chainsmokers Announce 2020 Euro Headline Run
The Chainsmokers announced a European headline arena tour for October 2020, promoted by Live Nation.
The nine-city tour will kick off Oct. 7 at the Zenith in Munich, Germany, and make stops in the Czech Republic, Italy, U.K., and Ireland. After a one-stop return to Germany, the tour is headed to Belgium and the Netherlands, before wrapping at the Zenith in Paris, France, Oct. 24.
Tickets for the tour will be available via Spotify pre-sale starting Nov. 6, with the general on-sale beginning Nov. 8.
The Chainsmokers are currently midway through their “World Way Joy” North American headline arena tour, which is traveling to over 40 cities and runs through December 2019.
The duo sold 9,329 tickets at Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL, Oct. 25, grossing $527,037, according to Pollstar box office data. The Oct. 22 Stat Farm Arena show in Atlanta, GA, sold 8,123 tickets and grossed $406,281.

“Hans Zimmer Live” Back On The Road In 2021
Semmel Concerts announced new European dates for “Hans Zimmer Live.” As opposed to the most recent Hans Zimmer tour, “The World of Hans Zimmer,” this one features the composer himself.
“It will be a new show with Zimmer joined by a band, orchestra and choir to perform hit compositions from fan favorite films including ‘The Lion King’ and ‘Interstellar’ as well as newer material like ‘Dunkirk and ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix.’ Additionally, Zimmer will perform pieces not often performed live including ‘The Last Samurai’ and “Tears of the Sun,'” the announcement from from Semmel Concerts reads.

Whitesnake, Foreigner & Europe in the U.K.
Whitesnake and Foreigner announced that they will be hitting the road across the U.K. together in 2020, alongside special guests Europe.
The rock legends will tour the U.K. starting May 31 2020 in London’s O2 Arena, before hitting Cardiff, Birmingham, Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester.
Mick Jones from Foreigners said in a statement: “We can’t wait to kick off the summer in the U.K. with a massive tour alongside our friends Whitesnake and Europe. We’re looking forward to playing all our biggest hits for our fans, and rocking across the country.”
Whitesnake, Foreigner and Europe will take fans on a musical journey spanning seminal and anthemic hits including “Here I Go Again”, “Still Of The Night” and “Is This Love” [Whitesnake], “I Want To Know What Love Is” and “Cold As Ice” [Foreigner], and of course Europe’s “Final Countdown.”
Promoter Live Nation will release tickets on Friday, Nov. 8.
