Camila Cabello detailed her second solo album and a corresponding arena tour on Wednesday.
The Grammy-nominated pop star releases Romance on Dec. 6, and will tour North America next summer.
Cabello’s “The Romance Tour” begins at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on July 29, 2020. From there, it’ll hit several major arenas, including San Francisco’s Chase Center (Aug. 5, 2020), Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena (Sept. 4, 2020) and New York City’s Madison Square Garden (Sept. 18, 2020), before wrapping at Miami’s AmericanAirlines Arena on Sept. 26, 2020.
Messina Touring Group is promoting the 26-date tour, which is Cabello’s first proper arena jaunt as a solo artist. In 2018, Cabello played stadiums as an opener on Taylor Swift’s “Reputation Tour,” ad late last year she played arenas alongside stars such as Shawn Mendes, Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa as part of the “Jingle Ball” tour.
Cabello’s spring 2018 theater tour included stops at the Fox Theater, in Oakland, Calif., where she sold 2,828 tickets and grossed $118,415, and at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre, where she sold 2,766 tickets and grossed $107,150.
As a member of Fifth Harmony, Cabello appeared on Pollstar‘s Year End Top 200 North American Tours chart in 2016, when the group grossed $5.1 million on the continent. Fifth Harmony’s 2016 tour of North American sheds was highlighted by a gig at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre in Irvine, Calif., that sold 8.351 tickets and grossed $368,680, and a show at Concord Pavilion, in Concord, Calif., that sold 8,627 tickets and grossed $255,712.
The 22-year-old musician’s star has risen dramatically since then, of course. Cabello opened tours for both Bruno Mars and Swift, and her acclaimed 2018 solo debut Camila bowed at No. 1 on Billboard‘s albums chart and garnered two Grammy nominations. That album catapulted two songs, “Never Be The Same” and “Havana” into the Hot 100’s top 10, with the latter topping the chart.
Cabello scored another Hot 100 No. 1 earlier this year with “Señorita,” her collaborative single with Shawn Mendes.
Tickets for Cabello’s 2020 tour go on sale to the general public on Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. local time. Find a list of dates below.
