KISS announced the farewell tour last year and started out averaging more than $1 million a night.
Of its Whiskey a Go Go show in West Hollywood, Calif., earlier this year, Holly Gleason wrote: “In a world of posturing, this opportunity to drop an intimate show for SiriusXM’s KISS Army Radio (Ch. 30) was a take-no-prisoners, dozen-song romp through their catalog.”
Longtime KISS manager Doc McGhee ended his business partnership with his brother Scott McGhee last year, saying professional and personal objectives made the creation of Scott’s own company the next logical step.
