Pearl Jam Announces North American Tour, New Album

Pearl Jam fans’ long wait for new music is almost over, as the band announces its first studio album since 2013 and an extensive tour to go with it.
The band’s 11th studio album, Gigaton, drops March 27 and Pearl Jam hits the road in support, beginning March 18 at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena. After a quick run through Canada, Pearl Jam plans U.S. stops including Baltimore, New York City, Nashville, St. Louis, Denver, Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles and Oakland, Calif., where it will wrap the tour’s first leg with two dates at the Oakland Arena.
Verified Fan presales begin Thursday, Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. local time, and there’s a special ticket presale supported by the Ticketmaster Request platform for Ten Club members who are registered as of yesterday (Jan. 12). More details can be found at the band’s website.
Aside from a smattering of stadium shows and festival appearances, the tour marks Pearl Jam’s first full North American arena tour since 2015-16. A batch of European dates has already been announced.
Over the last three years, the band has averaged 52,075 tickets sold per show for a gross of $4,666,506.
Ticketmaster Verified Fan presale begins Thursday, Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. local venue time, and registration begins today and closes Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Fans can register at the Ticketmaster site.
Registration is required and only fans that have been verified and invited to the presale will receive an access code that will allow them to shop for tickets. In addition, $5 of each ticket is a charitable contribution to the Vitalogy Foundation
While tickets are mobile-only and non-transferable, Pearl Jam and Ticketmaster have also partnered to roll out the first fan-to-fan, face-value ticket resale platform used in North America to create a safe, reliable experience and ensure tickets get directly to fans and off the secondary market.
For fans who are unable to use their tickets, Fan-to-Fan Face Value Ticket Exchange, which will allow fans to resell their tickets for the price they paid (including all fees). The Fan-to-Fan Face Value Ticket Exchange will launch on February 18. There are no additional fees to use the free service.
