Rob Buswell Joins Emporium Presents
Emporium Presents has named industry vet Rob Buswell to its team as Head of Radio Shows & Special Events, the promoter led by Dan Steinberg and Jason Zink announced today (Jan. 14). Buswell, with 30 years under his belt in radio and concert promotion, will help increase Emporium’s show production and expand their specialty events.
Buswell successfully owned and operated Pro Events since 2001, where he produced events and booked talent for nearly 100 U.S. radio stations, as well as high-profile corporate and special events, festivals and Pride events.
As one of the nation’s most predominant promoters of radio station festivals and events, Rob has worked with some of the biggest names in the business, including Drake, Christina Aguilera, Destiny’s Child, Kanye West, Tool, Jay-Z, Justin Bieber, Disturbed, Calvin Harris, The Foo Fighters, Chance the Rapper, and many more.
Prior to starting his own company, Rob developed the Radio Events division of Jacor Broadcasting in Denver, and later went on to produce radio events nationwide for Jeff McClusky and Associates. In the mid 80’s to mid 90’s, Rob was the head of marketing at Avalon Attractions in Los Angeles and Fey Concerts in Denver, where he managed the marketing efforts for events at venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre and The Hollywood Bowl, and handled West Coast tour marketing for Artists including U2 and The Eagles.
