– Eric Bresler

Seattle Hockey Partners and OVG have added key positions at the new arena at Seattle Center, with Eric Bresler, Tom Conroy and Rosemary Selle joining a team that already includes GM Steve Mattson and vice president of events Don Graham.

Chase Center vet Eric Bresler joins as senior vice president of programming; Canadian Tire Centre’s Tom Conroy is the new vice president of operations; and ASM Global’s Rosemary Selle joins as vice president of marketing.
Bresler will lead programming and entertainment development and will guide the new venue to its scheduled opening in the summer of 2021. He will also advise on content for other OVG properties, including the Moody Center at the University of Texas, the new arena at Agua Caliente in Palm Springs, Calif., and the new arena for the New York Islanders in Belmont, N.Y., in addition to other OVG entertainment business initiatives.
Bresler spent three years at the Chase Center as executive director. Prior to that he was vice president of event booking and development for AEG Facilities and vice president of arena bookings and marketing at AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, where he opened the Miami Heat’s waterfront arena. Bresler began his career in South Florida at what is now known as Hard Rock Stadium.
Conroy brings 30 years of arena industry experience to OVG and has been involved in the opening of new buildings in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. In his new role, he will oversee all back of house and venue operations at the new Seattle facility including arena conversions, ice operations, event production, facility and ground services, custodial services, HVAC, refrigeration, and physical plant operations.
Prior to joining OVG, Conroy served for 24 years at the Canadian Tire Centre for the NHL’s Ottawa Senators where he served as director of operations for Ogden Entertainment Services and director of facilities and services before being promoted to vice president and executive director.
Before his tenure in Ottawa, Conroy was the operations manager at the Mullens Center on the campus of the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
As a senior member of the OVG marketing team, Selle will plan and implement branding, ticket sales, media buying, partnership marketing, and social and digital media strategies.
Selle recently served as the regional director of marketing for AEG Facilities/ASM Global, and senior director of marketing at Target Center in Minneapolis. Prior to that, Selle was the director of marketing at KeyArena at Seattle Center for AEG Facilities.
The new arena— originally slated to cost about $600 million and now looking at a price tag of upwards of $900 million according to Seattle NHL team president Tod Leiweke— is scheduled to open in summer 2021.
Bresler, Conroy and Selle begin immediately.
