Premier Productions CEO
Family and faith-based concert promoter Premier Productions has named CEO Michael Pugh partner and announced acquisitions of ticketing and conference registration software Platform and volunteer recruitment platform Loop.
Along with the naming of Pugh as partner, Premier has promoted Dan Rauter from Strategic Partners Director to Vice President of Strategy and Partnership; Jonathan Roberts from Touring Director to Sr Talent Buyer; Rann Russell from Touring Coordinator to Talent Buyer; Mallory Willingham from Touring Coordinator to Talent Buyer.
“We are thrilled to welcome Michael Pugh as a partner,” said Shane Quick, co-owner of Premier Productions. “Michael, Jonathan Roberts and Dan Rauter embody the leadership action and influence of a dream team. We sold 1.7 million tickets in 2019 and they are keys to that success and our future.”
Platform, primarily a ticketing and conference registration service, has a primary target market of churches, which Premier says is an underserved market in need of a robust ticketing solution. With Loop, Premier brings a service that connects volunteers with non-profits and artists in need of a volunteer base to help run events. Premier says Loop has recruited more than 18,000 volunteers fore more than 500 events since launching in 2015. Premier is owned by Gary Gentry, Roy Morgan and Shane Quick.
Premier Productions produces more than 600 events per year, currently promoting major artists and shows including Hillsong United, Dude Perfect, Lauren Daigle, the Gaithers, Hillsong Worship, Casting Crowns and others. For 2019, Premier was the fourth largest in the U.S. and No. 13 worldwide based on ticket sales reported to Pollstar, with more than 1.7 million tickets sold.
