Made Event Partners With ID&T
LiveStyle companies Made Event and ID&T will start working more closely together, as both announced Feb. 6 they were entering into a strategic partnership.
The New York-based Made Event and Netherlands-based ID&T will collaborate on the international expansion of Made’s Electric Zoo and ID&T’s extensive brands including Mysteryland, Awakenings, Amsterdam Open Air, Defqon.1 Weekend Festival and Sensation.
“We are honored to be working with ID&T, the world’s most notable dance music promoter,” Made Event SVP Adam Richman said in a statement. “Working together with them will allow us to take our flagship brand Electric Zoo to cities around the world. We can’t wait to share New York City’s No. 1 festival with the rest of the globe.”
In addition to all of the festivals previously mentioned, ID&T group includes companies like b2s, Q-Dance, Art of Dance and VD Events.
Made Event organizes the annual Electric Zoo Festival and books electronic shows in New York and Miami and beyond, particularly at Avant Gardner and The Brooklyn Mirage in NYC. Richman was named to Pollstar’s inaugural Impact: NextGen list last year.
The electronic-focused LiveStyle saw the departure of CEO Randy Philips last year after guiding the company through re-branding and re-emergence from bankruptcy as SFX.
SFX founder and Robert Sillerman died last year.
