Much of the entertainment business may currently be on hold, but
The Charlie Daniels Band is still planning on lighting up Nashville with his Volunteer Jam and has announced a star-studded lineup.
The event – produced by Outback presents in association with David Corlew and Associates and Conway Entertainment Group – will be held Sept. 15 at Bridgestone Arena, and tickets are on sale now.
The lineup will include Charlie Daniels Band, Trace Adkins, Justin Moore, The Marshall Tucker Band, Chris Janson, Charley Pride, Larry, Steve & Rudy: The Gatlin Brothers, Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson, Cowboy Troy, Delbert McClinton, Keb’ Mo’, The Outlaws, Jenny Tolman, the Atlanta Rhythm Section, Devon Allman & Duane Betts, Travis Denning, Mickey Gilley, Johnny Lee, Scooter Brown Band, The SteelDrivers, Rhett Akins, Pure Prairie League and comedian Dusty Slay.
A good number of tickets – 500 – are being distributed by Middle Tennessee emergency relief volunteers for free on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Volunteer Jam began in 1974 and has proven to have massive staying power as a Nashville tradition. The 2018 edition featured Alabama, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Chris Young, and Alison Krauss and grossed $495,633 off 9,907 tickets. That event was put on by Blackbird Productions.
