The lineup for the event is extensive, with performances from the likes of Yungblud, The Glitch Mob, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Pink Sweat$, Griz, Mt. It will hosted by event producer Andy King, who rose to fame for his role in the Netflix documentary “Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened.”
“I’m beyond thrilled to host Room Service this weekend and bring everybody some well-deserved joy and distraction!” Andy King said in a statement. “This festival gives us a chance to translate the anniversary of Fyre into some real good that’s needed in the world right now.”
The proceeds from the event are being donated to Feeding America and Sweet Relief. Organizers said $15,000 was raised within 24 hours of the initial announcement.
In addition to Chill Nation and Trap Nation, the event is being organized by Room Service International, the community-action organization focused on using crafts and platforms to affect change in underserved communities throughout the world. Videogame developer Bandai has signed on as a promotional partner and THX Ltd. Is the audio sponsor.
