George Strait Pushes Minneapolis And Notre Dame Shows To 2021

In order to “prioritize fans’ safety during the ongoing pandemic” country music legend George Strait has announced the postponement of two upcoming shows to 2021.

“Strait to South Bend” at Notre Dame Stadium, originally to take place on Aug. 15, will move to Saturday, Aug. 7 of 2021 with special guests Chris Stapleton and Brothers Osborne.
 
Likewise, the King Of Country Music’s U.S. Bank Stadium show in Minneapolis will now take place on Saturday, July 31, 2021, with special guests Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town.
 
The announcement says fans should hold on to existing tickets, which will be honored for the new dates, while those unable to attend the rescheduled shows are eligible for a refund at the original point of purchase within the next 30 days.
Strait’s Las Vegas shows for Aug. 28-29 at T-Mobile Arena are still scheduled to take place.  Last year’s “Strait To Vegas” engagement at T-Mobile Arena sold 31,556 and grossed $4.17 million Jan 31-Feb. 1 for the longtime Messina Touring Group client
