Stubner’s Shelter Music Expands With Notable Managers, Artist Clients

Carl Stubner’s Shelter Music Group has added some high profile managers and their artist clients, with Paul Geary, Steve Wood, Alison Taylor, Derek Brewer and Will Hoffman joining the fold.
Among the new managers, Geary and Wood come from Global Artist management, with clients Godsmack, The Hollywood Vampires, Joe Perry, Johnny Depp, Hoobastank, Like A Storm and Sully Erna.
Taylor comes from atWork Management, with clients Barenaked Ladies, Kyla Jade and Marshall, while Brewer comes from Manifest GRP with Dance Gavin Dance, Palaye Royale, Crown The Empire, Veil of Maya, Milkk, Dying Fetus and more.
Hoffman brings client Nothing More to Shelter Music Group.
Stubner, manager of Fleetwood Mac, ZZ Top, Crowded House and Neil Finn, is chairman of the recently formed Shelter Music Group. He and president Dino Paredes (Puscifer, A Perfect Circle), they have quickly established the company as a force in the artist management space.
The announcement also notes that BMG has become a partner with the management company.
“These are unusual times but we have seen artists demanding new and innovative thinking from their management team to adapt to the world we currently live in,” Stunbner says. “This group of professionals are each extraordinary and established in their own careers, and they will help us as we adjust our sights and bring new focus to our business and our clients.
