Michael Franti is inviting fans to come along on a virtual world tour to his record release party, his yoga retreat hotel in Bali and a house party. You might even be lucky enough to get into a private “Backstage” party room.

With each show offering a different themed-experience, the “Stay at Home Concert World Tour” kicks off with the Work Hard and Be Nice Record Release Party June 19. Michael Franti & Spearhead’s 11th studio album is due out that day, featuring lead single “I Got You.” The tune is currently climbing up the AAA charts.

“Every song on the album is about the power of optimism to get us through our darkest moments and find the light in our loves, lives and for the planet,” Franti said in a statement.

Scheduled July 18, Michael Franti Live from Soulshine Bali features a performance at the yoga retreat hotel in Ubud founded by Franti and his friend and Spearhead art director and “Stay Human Films” co-founder Carla Swanson.

The Soulrocker House Party is set for Aug. 1

Tickets are on sale now, with individual tickets priced at $22 and a bundle for all three shows available for $56. Brand new merch is available to be added for an additional price. A portion of the price of each ticket will be donated to charity.

The first 500 fans to purchase tickets will get access to a private “Backstage” party room via Zoom. An announcement explains that fans will get to interact with Franti and one another by participating in “sing-alongs, games and more.”

“Recently, I’ve done several online concerts that exceeded my expectations in terms of intimacy and energy as I watched people in quarantine dancing along and hugging one another in their living rooms with the same passion as they do in large venues,” Franti said. “I’ve become a believer in the idea that magic can happen in this online shared space. That community and celebration together doesn’t have to stop just because we can’t gather together.” Reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice for Franti include a Nov. 8 show in Silver Spring, Md., at The Fillmore Silver Spring that sold 1,408 tickets and grossed $43,812.
