Post Malone is set to play Call of Duty: Warzone with his fans on July 24 on the HyperX Twitch channel as part of a new event series.

The series, called HXCKED, will see Posty playing CoD and interacting with his fans via Twitch chat. The event is produced by Zoned with OS Studios and their remote control room leading technical production.

“HyperX is thrilled to kick off our HXCKED series with Post Malone,” said Dustin Illingworth, influencer marketing manager, HyperX. “Post Malone’s unrivaled global presence, authentic fan interaction, and love of gaming make him the ideal choice to inaugurate our newest program.”

The COVID-19 pandemic may be lending impetus to the growing intersection between video games and music, as demonstrated in Travis Scott’s “Astronomical” Fortnite performance.

HyperX also sponsors the HyperX Esports Truck, a production studio that recently was announced to be partnering with LiveXLive and Allied Esports to bring artists together in musical and video game competition, starting with artist Trippie Redd.
