Event Pros Plan 'One Voice' Drive-Through Demonstration In Downtown L.A.

A “caravan in solidarity with live events” is expected to descend upon XBox Plaza at L.A. Live in an impactful parade as event professionals participate in “One Voice, A Day For Action In Los Angeles,” a drive-through demonstration planned from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 12).

Organized by NITO, Live Events Coalition and California Events Coalition, the demonstration is “inspired by the melting pot of all the many voices that make up the live event industry,” according to a statement. “Beyond an ‘empty event’ this day will serve as a message of hope representing our 12 million strong as ‘One Voice’. We are thrilled to celebrate this as we go into this Los Angeles Day of Action!”

Participants are asked to access Chick Hearn Court (adjacent to Staples Center), from South Figueroa Street in the far right lane for the vehicles-only, drive-through experience. Organizers encourage those taking part to bring their crews and staffs, make creative signage and be prepared to honk and let your voice be heard.
