Eps Relocates Center Of Operations To Sweden
– Fredrik Zetterberg
CEO of eps scandinavia.
After more than 10 years being based in Copenhagen, Denmark, event infrastructure and crowd control experts eps announced the relocation of its center of operations to Sweden. The main office will be based in the capital Stockholm, and a new warehouse will be installed in Motala.
Motala is located in the middle of all major Scandinavian cities, making it a perfect place for the companies’ main logistics hub, according to the announcement.
“The move does not only shorten eps’ reaction time but also enhances the ecological footprint in the transportation department of eps. Which is another puzzle piece in the company’s mission and vision to become a more and more sustainable company.
“Along with measures like using recycled materials to manufacture in house products, smart IT solutions and other strategies to improve eps’ carbon footprint and the footprint of the industry as a whole,” the announcement states.
With the geographic changes come alternations in the staff structure. As previously reported, eps hired Fredrik Zetterberg as CEO of eps Scandinavia back in March 2020.
Zetterberg used to be head of Operations at the e-sports company DreamHack, and head of production at the Stockholm Exhibition Center. His career in the live music industry began in the early 90s, ranging from lighting design to tour managing and production coordination.
Zetterberg will be based in Stockholm running the company as a whole as well as the Stockholm and Motala facilities.
With the relocation of the company to Sweden, co-founder and long year managing director of eps Scandinavia, Bo Teichert, will leave the company.
“eps thanks Bo for the decade with the company and wish him all the best on his further personal and career path,” a company statement reads.
Fredrik Zetterberg commented: “I’m excited to start up eps in Sweden, we will be able to cater more clients and new business areas where eps hasn’t been before. The relocation to Motala makes it possible for us to respond quicker and more agile towards our new and existing clients.”
Added Okan Tombulca, managing director of the eps group: “I am delighted to welcome Fredrik Zetterberg to our company. He brings a wealth of experience, in-depth knowledge, and an understanding of all aspects of our industry. With Fredrik in our team and the strategic relocation of the company, we will be able to better meet the needs of our customers in the growing Scandinavian market. By taking this step, we as the eps group are also consistently proceeding our path of steady growth.”
eps is looking forward to 2021 to expand and to deliver high class event equipment all over Scandinavia.
