Disco Donnie Presents is moving its Ubbi Dubbi 2021 festival from Dallas/Fort Worth to the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas, and the event will now include a range of on-site camping options.
“Camping has always been in our sights for Ubbi Dubbi,” James “Disco Donnie” Estopinal said in a statement. “This venue checked all of the boxes for a festival venue and camping location, and the venue has hosted many camping events in the past. We’re very excited to add camping to the Ubbi Dubbi experience for the first time ever.”
Ubbi Dubbi will return for its sophomore edition April 24-25, with camping also offered on April 23. The lineup features Noizu, Riot Ten, Kaskade, Dom Dolla, Adventure Club, Sosa, Zomboy, Rusko, Destructo (aka executive Gary Richards) and more. The festival first debuted in 2019 and was forced to cancel in 2020 because of the pandemic.
To keep fans safe, Ubbi Dubbi 2021 is limited to 50% capacity, with masks required.
Camping passes are sold separately from the regular festival wristband. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Camping options include tent camping, premium tent camping (featuring a premium location near the festival grounds along with a tent, lantern, sleeping bags and  pillows), car camping, premium car camping, RV camping, premium RV camping (featuring a premium location near the festival grounds, power hookup, and pump service) and RV max camping. Payment plan options for the camping passes start as low as $16 down.
In April Disco Donnie Presents once again became fully independent as founder James “Disco Donnie” Estopinal bought out previous owner LiveStyle to regain sole ownership.
Estopinal was honored earlier this year as part of Pollstar’s 2020 Impact 50 list, celebrating the executives in the live industry who are having the biggest impact on the business.
DDP adapted during the pandemic by being one of the first companies to put on socially distanced shows at drive-ins, including a series of events called “No Parking On The Dance Floor.”
Other upcoming events from DDP include Sunset Music Festival at the Raymond James Stadium lot in Tampa, Fla., Dec. 26-27.
