Music Career Map Launches Consulting Agency For Industry Pros
Music Career Map, Inc., has launched a new consulting agency – called Music Industry Experts – to allow managers, agents, promoters and attorneys a platform to connect directly with anyone who might need their expertise.
The initial roster of professionals includes attorneys Eric Griffin and Matt Crumpton who have worked with Brian McKnight and Mike Landolt of Maroon 5 and Train respectively; former Flogging Molly drummer George Schwindt; talent buyer and promoter Chris Diaz, who has worked at The Roxy, Knitting Factory, Live Nation/Spaceland, and AEG Goldenvoice; tour and production manager Chris Denholm, who has worked with NF, Mutemath, and I Prevail; Booking agent and talent buyer Justin Bridgewaterm who has worked for UTA, AEG/Bowery Presents and Starland Ballroom; and many others whose expertise includes radio, festival and nonprofit development, merchandise, branding, creative strategy, podcasting, music publishing and much more.
The agency will provide income for these professionals while live events remain shuttered, and the company is seeking to expand its roster of professional consultants.
“The agency was a natural evolution of our model,” Brian Penick, CEO and Founder of Music Career Map, said in a statement. “So many other industries rely on professional consulting, and I wanted to adopt an ethical and transparent way for the music industry to utilize. It breaks my heart knowing how many talented professionals are struggling. This is a great way to bridge the gap while helping tomorrow’s generation of musicians and music professionals advance their careers. It’s a literal win-win for everyone.”
Music Career Map also launched Music Industry Careers – a career marketplace – earlier this year.
The company recently raised $600,000 in capital from investors including Rivermint Capital and LOUD Capital.
