Bruce Patron, Former Tour Manager For Blondie And INXS, Dies At 70

Overland Entertainment Vice President and director of production Bruce Patron – who was the former tour manager for Blondie, INXS and The Go-Go’s – died Dec. 19 at age 70 after a brief battle with advanced lung cancer.
Patron served as VP at the New York City-based company since 2000 and helmed production for events including New Yorker Festival, The Angel Ball, Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, The One Show, PEN World Voices Festival, Glamour Women of the Year Awards and the US Open on-court entertainment at Arthur Ashe Stadium. Most recently he oversaw production for the Tribeca Film Festival and Tribeca Drive-In this summer.  
A statement from Overland noted that “Bruce truly loved what he did” and described him as “a vibrant and unforgettable figure in the production world, highly respected and thought of with great affection by his crews, vendors, clients, friends and colleagues.

“He is survived by his sister Randee Patron Levitt, nieces Rachel Massetti and Sarah Weaver, cousin Alan Abrams and Overland family.”
