Pollstar Live!/VNC Join Forces For Live Week: Reviving Live! June 14-17 in Los Angeles

Pollstar Live Week: Reviving Live

Pollstar and VenuesNow today announced Live Week: Reviving Live!, which will combine the VenuesNow Conference, Pollstar Live! and Production Live! June 14-17, 2021 in Los Angeles. Reviving Live!, which will take place at the Beverly Hilton, will mark a major step forward in the return of the global live entertainment industry with four days of critical in-person meetings, keynotes, panels and events.

Many of the live industry’s key figures already confirmed to participate in Live Week include Oak View Group CEO Tim Leiweke, Red Light Management founder Coran Capshaw, CAA’s Music Division Head Rob Light, NIVA/First Avenue Productions President/CEO Dayna Frank, Bandit Lites CEO Michael Strickland, Live Nation Women President Ali Harnell, TD Garden President Amy Latimer, CEO of Cleveland Cavaliers/Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse Len Komoroski, entertainment attorney Berkeley Reinhold, Roadies Of Color United co-founders Bill Reeves and Lance “K.C.” Jackson, and tour director/manger/accountant David ‘5-1’ Norman.

“Our goal once again is to bring together the most powerful thinkers and innovators in sports and live entertainment to collectively take stock of the challenges we face and how we can move the business forward, and this sort of leadership and collaboration has never been more important than in 2021,” said Tim Leiweke of OVG, Pollstar and VenuesNow’s parent company. “We believe it is critical to bring the industry together as we ramp up for the return of the live business, and we look forward to seeing everyone in Los Angeles for Live Week: Reviving Live! in June!”

Schedules for all three events as well as additional speakers will be announced in the coming weeks at LiveWeek2021.com.

Combining VenuesNow, the highly respected symposium for professionals in the sports and live entertainment venue industry, and Pollstar Live!, the world’s largest gathering for the live entertainment industry now in its 32nd year, as well as the Pollstar Awards: A Celebration of Live, will create a massive epicenter for the business of live events. Bridging the two conferences will be Production Live!, the foremost conference for professionals in producing and transporting live events.

All four events are the most high-profile and compelling in the industry, with recent keynotes including Jerry Bruckheimer, Mark Cuban, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert, Golden State Warriors co-owner Peter Guber, MSG’s Jim Dolan, Feld Entertainment’s Ken and Nicole Feld, Buffalo Bills and Sabres co-owner Kim Pegula, and Endeavor’s Ari Emanuel, along with such artists as Garth Brooks, Nicki Minaj, Dave Grohl, Jon Bon Jovi, Sharon Osbourne, and Khalid.

“The unprecedented gathering of the venue, sports and live entertainment sectors in person for Pollstar Live! and the VenuesNow Conference is the first step toward returning our industry to the Golden Era we have enjoyed over the past decade,” added OVG Media & Conferences President Ray Waddell. “This will be a week like no other in the history of this business.”

Designed to Educate, Elevate and Inspire, Live Week: Reviving Live! will be focused not only on a healthy return for all aspects of the sports and live entertainment industry, but also an honest look at how to help the industry be better from cultural and socially- and environmentally-conscious outlooks.

In addition to VenuesNow Conference, Pollstar Live!, and Production Live!, Live Week: Reviving Live! will include the first ever Live Entertainment Job Fair; and a Celebration of Live Music: The 2021 Pollstar Awards, which is based on Pollstar’s industry leading Boxoffice Reports.

All three conferences will include panels, keynotes, a trade show, and multiple networking opportunities, all laser-focused on helping the industry prepare for the return of sports and live entertainment in what most observers believe will be the busiest time in the history of our industry.
