Lyte Promotes Lawrence Peryer, Adds Wendy Sturgis

Lyte has promoted Lawrence Peryer to the role of Chief Strategy Officer and added Wendi Sturgis as Chief Revenue Officer, the company announced Jan. 11.

Peryer was formerly Head of Business and Corporate Development and Chief Revenue Officer for the company. His strategy team will include staffers Craig Snyder, Cynthia Parsons and Justin Nordan.
Sturgis was most recently CEO of Yext Europe, where she was previously Chief Customer Officer and SVP of Sales and Service. Angeline Chase Priefer on Sturgis’ team has been bumped to Director of Client Services.
“Scaling disruptive technology companies to benefit all constituencies is my passion and I am thrilled to be joining Lyte at this incredible inflection point in the live events industry,” Sturgis said in a statement.
The company has also added Neal Gilbreath as Director of Sales. He previously worked as VP of Sales and Business Development at Front Gate Tickets and before that was at Eventbrite and Ticketfly. 
Lyte – ticketing technology platform that allows fans to swiftly return their tickets, plus fees, at the original point of purchase for partnered events – secured $33 million is Series B funding from sources including Chamath Palihapitiya’s Social Capital, Quincy Jones and Rocketship VC in December.
