The recently formed boutique talent agency Arrival Artists is growing with the hire of veteran agent Ryan Farlow, who brings along his clients including Andy Shauf, Enter Shikari, The Joy Formidable and Charlie Cunningham.
Farlow has been an agent for over a decade and most recently joined Partisan Arts in 2019. Prior to that he’d worked at Pinnacle Entertainment, The Windish Agency and Paradigm.
His roster also includes Connan Mockasin, Georgia, Lido Pimienta, Mercury Rev, Patrick Watson, Ryley Walker, San Fermin, Shura, Son Little and more. Farlow will be based in New York.
Arrival co-founding agent and partner John Bongiorno says, “I’m thrilled to have Ryan joining us at Arrival. If there is any agent who exemplifies what Arrival stands for, it’s Ryan. He is a true agent who books career artists, thrives in a team setting, is as creative as they come, and whose clients love him. His work is always so inspired. We are both from the Hudson Valley, and a mutual friend had connected us before he became an intern for Pinnacle back in 2007. We’ve worked side by side for close to fourteen years and we’re so excited to welcome him and his incredible roster of clients.”

Arrival Artists was launched in October with Bongiorno, Ali Hedrick, Erik Selz, Karl Morse and Ethan Berlin – all most recently booking agents at Paradigm Talent Agency – teaming up with Matt Yasecko, the former COO of Billions Corporations. Agency associate Jess Bumsted also made the move from Paradigm. Their initial lineup boasts more than 100 clients including Khruangbin, Sufjan Stevens, BADBADNOTGOOD, Mt. Joy, Nubya Garcia, Car Seat Headrest, Andrew Bird, Chicano Batman, Goose, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Twin Peaks, The New Pornographers, Les Claypool, Pup, Joan Osborne, Glen Hansard and Destroyer.
In October the agency also broke the news about a partnership with ATC Live in Europe to provide international representation for both company’s clients. ATC’s roster includes Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The Lumineers, Mac DeMarco, Julia Jacklin and many more.
“I’m absolutely over-the-moon with excitement to be joining Arrival,” Farlow said in a statement. “I’ve long admired these great agents and their highest quality of work and artist-first ethics. Along with ATC Live, I believe the aligned values and worldwide approach here will make Arrival a leading light for years to come. I’m excited to get to work.”
Alex Bruford of ATC adds, “Many of us at ATC have worked closely with Ryan over the last decade, so I am delighted he is joining Arrival. Driven by his love of music and passion for his artists, Ryan is an exceptional agent whose international perspective and network will further strengthen our global offering.”
With COVID-19 restrictions shutting down most live events and subsequent layoffs and furloughs throughout the business, 2020 saw a trend of deconsolidation as executives departed major companies to strike out on their own with the formation of boutique agencies and management companies including Arrival Artists, TBA, MINT Talent Group, Terrapin Station Entertainment and JET Management.
