Creative Artists Agency Hires Music Agent Carly James

Carly James has joined Creative Artists Agency as an agent in the music touring department. She’s accompanied by a list of clients including Brit Award-nominated rock band IDLES, Grammy Award-nominated Irish post-punk revival band Fontaines D.C., and critically-acclaimed Norwegian singer/songwriter girl in red. 

James worked the past two years as an agent at Paradigm Talent Agency, which hired her as a booking coordinator in 2015. She started her career in the music industry as an assistant at The Agency Group in 2012.    

Her roster also includes British post-punk band Squid, folk musician Tomberlin and psychedelic pop band Mild High Club. 

James will be based in CAA’s New York office.
