Paul Gongaware, the nephew of the Concerts West promotion veteran by the same name, joins ICM Partners as an agent in the agency’s Electronic Music Dept., after spending eight years at WME.
The announcement was made today by Rob Prinz, ICM Partners worldwide head of concerts, Matt Bates, head of Primary Talent International/ICM and Simon Clarkson, head of electronic music at ICM Partners.
“I’m very happy to have Paul join us in our growing concerts dept and specifically the electronic space which we feel will rebound particularly strong post pandemic,” Prinz said in a statement.
It’s not known which artists Gongaware may bring with him, but he joins Clarkson who came to ICM in August with artists including Skrillex, Alison Wonderland, AlunaGeorge, and San Holo to bolster the agency’s domestic EDM division as well working with the PTI team and “Decked Out” dance division.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Rob, Simon, Matt, and the team at ICM/PTI. This is an incredible opportunity and I can’t wait to get started,” Gongaware stated.
