ICM Partners has expanded its presence in the symphonic concerts realm with the addition of agent Emily Threlfall Yoon, who is bringing her Disney Concerts client list.
Yoon has worked with Disney in developing more than 30 concert packages from its expansive IP, including the Star Wars Film Concert Series (for Episodes IV-IX), The Little Mermaid, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, Pixar In Concert, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Coco, Muppet Christmas Carol, Fantasia and more.  Her work with these packages includes film concerts, themed instrumental and vocal compilation concerts, symphonic performances and multimedia productions featuring live vocalists.

She is also bringing clients like conductors Christopher Dragon, Thiago Tiberio, and Ludwig Wicki.

“I’m thrilled to be bringing my roster into the ICM Partners fold and expanding the agency’s place within the symphony world,” Yoon said in a statement. “The team at ICM is incredible and for them to be in growth mode at this time speaks volumes to their commitment to the live concert industry, and I couldn’t be happier to be part of that.”

ICM Partners’ Head of Worldwide Concerts Rob Prinz added: “Emily is a top of her class agent in the symphony and orchestra world, with an incredible reputation and world class clients, which allows us to further our ambitious expansion in the touring business.”

Prior to her time as an agent Yoon was a Senior VP at Columbia Artists.

ICM also hired Paul Gongaware (nephew of the legendary Concerts West founder with the same name) last month and promoted 14 staffers to the level of agent in January. The company also hired veteran agents Ron Kaplan, Garry Buck and Alex Buck in early January.
