CTS Eventim Acquires Majority Stake In German Promoter DreamHaus
Matt Schwarz, who joined CTS Eventim from Live Nation GSA last year, will take on the role of CEO and Managing Partner of DreamHaus.
As from the 2022 editions, DreamHaus will organize two of Germany’s most iconic festivals, “Rock am Ring” and “Rock im Park,” jointly with eventimpresents, formerly known as MLK.
Working on RaR and RiP, DreamHaus will mainly be concerned with the program design. Going forward, DreamHaus will secure national and international tours for performers as part of Eventim Live, CTS Eventim’s unified promoter network.
Including DreamHaus, Eventim Live now comprises 35 promoters in 15 countries.
Klaus-Peter Schulenberg, CEO of CTS Eventim, commented, “Even in the face of the challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic, Eventim Live continues to grow its network and strengthen both its market position and potential. We have always claimed that CTS Eventim will emerge stronger from this crisis.”
Added Matt Schwarz, “I’m very pleased about the partnership between CTS Eventim and DreamHaus, which offers our team all manner of opportunities for a successful future.
“I am also grateful to CTS Eventim for the confidence the company has shown in jointly implementing our visions within this partnership and thus offering artists the best possible service and the ability to reach the greatest possible audience.”
The DreamHaus GmbH was established by Karsten Fuhrken, CEO of The Merch Republic, in October 2020. Former Live Nation employees including Marc Seemann, Claudia Schulte and Björn Bauch joined Fuhrken at the concert agency.
They have now been reunited with their former colleague, Matt Schwarz. According to Musikwoche, Live Nation GSA’s former director of touring Ioannis “Pana” Panagopoulos will also join DreamHaus effective April 1.
