Stabal Media Group has hired musical director Joe Clegg as Head of Live Music. As part of the deal, Clegg’s Artclub Live network will become a specialist division within the Stabal network.

Clegg founded Artclub Live to provide creative, musical and technical production support for artists worldwide.
The Artclub Live network is composed of music directors, engineers, producers, musicians, programmers, midi and playback techs. Their combined experience has been ensuring “consistent, high-quality performances out on the road,” according to Clegg, and will now benefit the performances broadcast on the Stable platform as well.
Clegg has previously worked as live music producer on the Mumford & Sons Delta World Tour, and as musical director for artists including Ellie Goulding, Clean Bandit, and Aurora.
“With the return of live music on the horizon, I’m excited to be working with Stabal to create a division focussed on the integration of live music experiences and digital content,” commented Clegg.
“I have been fortunate to have experienced the euphoria of a live show from the stage, front of house and in an OB truck in the middle of a festival field. Now I’m looking forward to working with the Stabal team to help capture many more high-quality, engaging digital performances on location around the world,” he said.
Steve Odart, CEO of Stabal, commented, “I am thrilled that Joe decided to join forces with us, and I am truly excited about the vision that he brings to the team. His ideas on how to enhance live tours and album launches, stretching beyond the physical constraints of geography and leveraging the power of digital, is clearly the future.”
Odart founded Stabal in 2018 to leverage the power of digitisation to better connect artists with their fanbase. By its own admission, the company’s core values are centred around quality, creativity, reliability and production.
Odart invested in purpose-built studios, world-class production teams in the UK and USA. Stabal’s in-house team captures, edits and produces the creative content, and releases it through its own online platform for a worldwide audience in 150 countries, which can experience the content – live online concerts, performances, interviews, masterclasses and film – as pay-per-view and on-demand.
Stabal offers 30 days of on-deman access to its content for premium ticket holders.
