The Lumineers is inviting fans to the movies for a special double feature. The beloved folk rock band has announced the theatrical premiere of the full-length concert film “The Lumineers: Live from the Artists Den” which will be screened alongside “III,” the visual companion film to the band’s third album.
Limited screenings of the double feature will take place in movie theatres nationwide April 1-30. An announcement notes that dates vary by region and are subject to change depending on local cinema reopening conditions. The screenings are presented in association with Artists Den Entertainment and CineLife Entertainment, which is utilizing the CinemaSafe program “promoting protocols and guidelines developed and supported by leading epidemiologists to support a safe return to movie theatres.”

This is the first chance “III” is being released wide to audiences after the short film had its world premiere in the special events category at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival.
“Pairing our Artists Den show from the Kings Theatre with the film III, the motion picture companion to our album of the same name, is truly special,” The Lumineers’ Wesley Schultz says in a statement. “We are excited to partner with CineLife to bring our film to the world, providing a unique night of both a live show and a visual album.”
