Ticketing provider See Tickets has announced a wave of 100 new and notable signings over the past 12 months, welcoming venue clients including the Troubadour in West Hollywood, Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn and World Cafe Live in Philadelphia.

The company says it has doubled its roster of venue clients, continuing to show its commitment to the independent live community. That includes providing early financial support to help the launch of what became the National Independent Venue Association.
“2020 was a difficult year for all.” See Tickets North America CEO Boris Patronoff says in a statement. “We’re very happy that we were able to provide the right support to our clients and the greater community in ways others could not. Supporting our clients through a sponsorship of NIVA was a no-brainer.”
Patronoff, who serves as chair on the NIVA advisory board, is a believer in the U.S. market.
“Venue owners continue to struggle as they await the SBA’s Shuttered Venue Operators Grant program to accept applications,” he says, adding, “It’s important to us that independent venues have the support they need to face the future with more certainty.”
See Tickets over the last 12 months has also made significant investments in new features specifically designed for the independent community, including event creation, email marketing and CRM, partnerships allowing contactless ticket scanning, fan-to-fan ticket exchange and enhanced fraud prevention.

“See Tickets has proven that they not only care about the independent venues but that they are forward thinking,”  says Christine Karayan, owner of The Troubadour in Los Angeles. “When we are able to welcome people back into the Troubadour, the integrations, support, and marketing tools See Tickets provides will be invaluable. I want to work with people who understand The Troubadour’s business and customers’ needs. And by partnering with See Tickets, we are in a better position to navigate the future, no matter what that might look like.”
Hal Real of World Cafe Live adds, “See Tickets’ stability and ongoing commitment to help independent venues like World Cafe Live made a significant impression while determining our new ticketing partner. It feels like a natural fit and puts World Cafe Live in a stronger position to continue serving our guests and community.”
See Tickets is owned by France-based conglomerate Vivendi, started 25 years ago and servicing music clients including Glastonbury Festival, Tomorrowland, Disco Donnie Presents, Pitchfork Music Festival and more, with offices and staff in Los Angeles, Nashville, London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Madrid and more.
