Billy Joel To Headline Formula 1 Concert In Austin

Add Billy Joel to the list of artists that will once again be performing before live audiences in 2021 as the Piano Man is slated to play the Germania Insurance Super Stage at the Formula 1 2021 ARAMCO U.S. Grand Prix on Oct. 23 in Austin. 

The show will include numerous hits, including “It’s Still Rock & Roll to Me,” “Uptown Girl,” and “We Didn’t Start the Fire.” 
Tickets to the event are on sale now. The racing event runs for three days in total, from Oct. 22-24, and will also include another headline concert and other featured entertainment. 
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Billy Joel had been touring stadiums for more than seven years. Joel – who turns 72 in May – has placed highly on Pollstar’s Year End Top 100 Worldwide Tours chart from every year from 2014 to 2019. He came in at No. 23 in 2019 with $76.9 million grossed on 598,970 tickets.
Joel also held a historic monthly residency at Madison Square Garden in New York before the pandemic.
