Travis Scott Announces Astroworld Fest In Houston Nov. 5-6
– Astroworld 2021
Nov. 5-6
Hip-hop superstar Travis Scott has announced the return of his own Astroworld Festival, which will return Nov. 5-6 to NRG Park in Houston, Texas, the third installment of the fest.
The event expands to two days this year due to overwhelming demand, according to the announcement, as the festival has sold out twice previously despite not announcing a lineup til days before showtime.
Tickets go on sale May 5 at 10:00 a.m. CT at AstroworldFest.com.
The event features a new creative theme, “Open Your Eyes To A Whole New Universe”, promising a larger-than-life multi-stage music festival experience in Travis Scott’s hometown of Houston.
Scott is also now confirmed as the festival’s headlining performer as he prepares for the release of his new album, Utopia.
The festival looks to once again bring back the beloved spirit and nostalgia of AstroWorld, the now-defunct amusement park that was located across the street from the current festival grounds after first opening in 1968.
The event is produced by Live Nation, with Scott represented by Cara Lewis Group.
In November 2019, Astroworld sold out with more than 50,000 fans in attendance. Past festival performances have featured artists including Post Malone, Rosalia, Pharrell Williams, Da Baby, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Playboi Carti, Megan Thee Stallion, and others.
A portion of proceeds from the event will be donated to the festival’s official charity partner, Cactus Jack Foundation. Founded by Scott, the nonprofit organization looks to empower and enrich the lives of youth by providing access to education and creative resources to ensure long-term success.
