Mainland Music Hires Andrej Malogajski In Switzerland

Mainland Music, the Swiss concert promoter that got acquired by Live Nation in 2018, announced the hiring of Andrej Malogajski, the booker of Swiss mainstays like Openair Frauenfeld, Gurtenfestival, Openair Lumnezia & Lakelive Festival.

Malogajski joins Mainland Music from Pleasure Productions, where he’s been since 2008 and has been mainly responsible for booking Openair Frauenfeld, Europe’s largest hip hop festival. 
Since 2017 he’s also been taking care of the international booking for Openair Lumnezia, and since 2018 for Lakelive Festival in Biel/Bienne. Since 2019 he’s also involved in the Gurtenfestival, primarily responsible for headliners and co-headliners.
He’ll be fulfilling the same duties for Mainland Music, effective Aug. 1.
“After his change, Pleasure Productions and Mainland Music will remain connected on a business and friendly basis. A cooperation with Openair Frauenfeld – outside of booking – will remain in place for Pleasure Productions in the form of a mandate,” the announcement states.
Mainland Music, by its own admission, is one of the Switzerland’s leading promoters in the genres rock/pop/hip hop, putting on 650 dhows per year from small clubs to the arenas and various open air festivals. Additionally, the company is responsible for the international booking of Openair Gampel and Openair Gränichen. 
Mainland Music, which was founded in. 2021, is led by Christian Gremelmayr, Derrick Thomson and Santosh Aerthott. The company is headquartered in Zurich.
