After winning another GRAMMY Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance in March and Duo of the Year for the third straight year at this year’s ACM Awards in April, the guys are eager to get back on the road and perform material from their extensive catalogue.
Dan + Shay is big business during normal touring times. The duo grossed $1.57 million on a headline show at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on March 6, 2020, the group’s last reported show before the COVID-19 pandemic effectively shut down the concert industry.
Ernie Hahn, GM of Pechanga Arena in San Diego, recently told Pollstar that the venue will be utilizing VenueShield guidelines to maintain high standards of sanitation and public safety.
“We will continue to follow all guidelines set forth by public health officials and will work in partnership with CMN should restrictions demand we make changes to the capacity levels at our venue,” Hahn said.
“VenueShield will provide the most advanced hygienic safeguards that serve ASM Global’s clients, guests, staff, teams, talent and all other visitors.
“Rest assured that all policies will be aligned with – and informed by – public health authorities, medical and industry experts.”
