Bachelor has assembled Doomin’ Sun Fest, which will bring together the likes of Jeff Tweedy, Courtney Barnett and Soccer Mommy on June 10.

Bachelor, the new collaborative project between Jay Som’s Melina Duterte and Palehound’s Ellen Kempner, releases its debut album Doomin’ Sun later this month.

Now, the band has announced Doomin’ Sun Fest, a livestreaming event and telethon featuring a slew of indie-rock’s biggest names.

Artists booked for the event, which airs on June 10 at 6 p.m. ET, include Courtney Barnett, Jeff Tweedy, Soccer Mommy, Ben Gibbard, Tegan and Sara, Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus, Beach Bunny, Tune-Yards, Shamir, Vagabon, Japanese Breakfast, Jeff Rosenstock, Sasami, Frankie Cosmos and many others.

Duterte and Kempner will host the free event, billed as a gathering for “Community, Compassion, Climate, and Celebration” and fielding donates for Seeding Sovereignty, an “Indigenous-led collective working to radicalize and disrupt colonized spaces through land, body and food sovereignty work, community building and cultural preservation.”

The event is being produced by Girlie Action, HIFI Labs, Salty Artist Management and TBA Agency, the latter of which represents Bachelor and several other Doomin’ Sun Fest performers, including Barnett, Tune-Yards, Faye Webster and Julia Jacklin.

Bachelor will support Lucy Dacus on her tour this September, and has a festival play booked for late September at New York’s Governors Ball.
