Metallica is lost in the music during a show at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Spain, Feb. 7.

Welcome To Rockville is making up for lost time by returning with its biggest year yet. The Danny Wimmer Presents festival has expanded to four days and will take place Nov. 11-14 at its new home at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fla. The event was previously held in April or May at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville, Fla.

The fest is topped by Nine Inch Nails, Disturbed and Metallica – with James Hetfield & co. headlining both Friday and Sunday. The lineup features more than 70 acts including Deftones, Cypress Hill, Stone Temple Pilots, Rob Zombie, Social Distortion, Chevelle, Pennywise, The Offspring, Staind, Lamb Of God, Asking Alexandria, GWAR, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Mudvayne, Mastodon, Anthrax, Falling In Reverse, and Sleeping With Sirens.
“I always take special pride in bringing shows to my home state of Florida, and I’ve never been more excited than I am this year,” Danny Wimmer, founder of Danny Wimmer Presents, said in a statement.

“We’re celebrating our 10th Welcome To Rockville by building on the big plans that we had for 2020: Bringing Metallica for two nights, along with Disturbed, Florida heroes Lynyrd Skynyrd (with their last Northern Florida show), and so many of the bands that were going to make last year the biggest Rockville yet – and then doing one better, adding a fourth day of music led by Nine Inch Nails. Welcome To Rockville is an incredible rock and roll vacation destination, and our new home, Daytona International Speedway, located just a few miles from the beach, allows us to have more space for a bigger, better festival and camping experience.”
Single-day and weekend passes are on sale now starting at $99.50 for single-day and $249.50 for four-day, plus fees. VIP passes and camping packages are also available. Fans are encouraged to buy passes now because prices will increase in the coming weeks. A limited number of specially priced tickets for military personnel are on sale now via GovX.
The most recent reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice for Welcome To Rockville is for 2017’s festival, which sold 56,033 tickets and grossed $2,104,050.
Along with Welcome To Rockville, Danny Wimmer Presents’ portfolio includes Aftershock, Bourbon & Beyond, Epicenter, Hometown Rising, Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival, Louder Than Life, Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival.
