Ticketmaster Adds New Experiences With Snapchat

Ticketmaster is teaming up with Snapchat to add two new experiences on the popular social media app.

Starting later this year, Snapchat users will be able to see which concerts are coming up at nearby venues on its new “Snap Map” and will also be able to swipe right or left on different concerts around the world with the “Ticketmaster Mini” experience on the app, so users can see what their friends have captured at live conferences and allowing them to make plans to see the same show.
Snap Inc. announced the partnership with Ticketmaster while also noting partnerships with Bumble and Disney, while unveiling its Map Layers feature and other new Games and Minis. 
Of particular note, the new Ticketmaster Mini will allow users to purchase tickets to shows in the Snapchat app. 
Snapchat has a history of working with different ticketing companies, and it announced in 2018 it would be integrating SeatGeek into its app. The company also partnered with Eventbrite and Pandora for its Snap Kit.
Ticketmaster also partners with many different digital and social media platforms, from YouTube to Spotify
Ticketmaster also announced it has renewed its deal to ticket Knitting Factory venues in the U.S. this morning.
