John Davisson – Florida Georgia Line
Florida Georgia Line closes out day one of the Tortuga Music Festival in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., April 6.
Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley are ready to get back on stage. As the superstar country duo said in a joint statement, “Touring is back, y’all!” Dates are here for the 2021 outing, “I Love My Country Tour,” launching Sept. 24 at Atlanta’s Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood.
FGL is bringing Russell Dickerson as direct support, along with Lauren Alaina and Redferrin as openers on all dates of the tour which is presented by Old Camp, sponsored by T-Mobile and produced by Live Nation.
“This is the longest we’ve gone without being on the road, and we’ve been counting down the days until we can finally say – we’re going on tour! Thank you to our fans for all of your support with our new music over the past year, we truly can’t wait to bring these tunes to the stage,” Hubbard and Kelley. “We’re excited to see your faces, feel the energy, and bring some good vibes to your city this fall. Let’s make some new memories!”
The 29-stop trek is made up of amphitheatre and arena shows with stops including Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, United Center in Chicago, T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Save Mart Center in Fresno and Ball Arena in Denver. The last show on the routing is Nov. 20 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.
FGL released its fifth studio album, Life Rolls On, in February. The album includes the singles “I Love My Country” and “Long Live.” On Wednesday the duo appeared on Ellen to perform the ballad “Always Gonna Love You.” A few days earlier FGL was named Top Country Duo/Group at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.
