Organizers of Coachella Valley Music + Arts Festival have announced the event’s return for April 15-17 and April 22-24, 2022. No lineup information is currently available.

A 2022 advance sale will begin June 4 at 10 a.m. PT. New tickets are available with payment plan options that include $99 down and an 8 month payment schedule, or 25% down and three months of scheduled payments.
Those who held onto their tickets for the postponed 2020 edition have been contacted and their passes will be honored at the new dates.
“Let’s get back – to that feeling when your mind slips away during that golden hour set, to live music, to sunsets, to time together. 318 days until Coachella,” organizers said in a statement.
After SXSW and Ultra Music Festival were forced to call off their events in early March 2020, it was with the postponement of Coachella that the live industry realized the COVID-19 pandemic would have a devastating impact on the entire industry. Though initially the Southern California megafest was postponed to October 2020, it was later officially canceled for 2020 under orders from local health officials.

The 2020 edition of Coachella was set to feature headline sets from Frank Ocean, Rage Against The Machine and Travis Scott.

Paul Tollett – President and CEO of Goldenvoice, which promotes the festival – was named to Pollstar’s Impact 50 list earlier this year.
In lieu of the festival in 2020 organizers released a free documentary on YouTube,  titled “20 Years In The Desert.”
Coachella has historically been the highest-grossing annual festival in North America by a mile. It reported a gross of nearly $114.6 million on 250,000 tickets in 2017. Stagecoach grossed nearly $25.4 million on 72,000 tickets in 2016.
