Get your dancing shoes ready because D-Nice is taking Club Quarantine on the road.  The renowned DJ, rapper, producer, and photographer – who has kept everyone’s spirits up during the pandemic with his Club Quarantine virtual parties on Instagram – has partnered with Live Nation Urban to launch Club Quarantine LIVE music series.

“We are excited to have Club Quarantine LIVE be the first Live Nation Urban event this year.  D-Nice provided us all a small dose of sanity, during insane times, and we are honored to help support his vision to further build out his super important brand. This is the party that we have all been waiting to attend,” Shawn Gee, president of Live Nation Urban, said in a statement.
The first confirmed event on the calendar is Aug. 29 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, hosted by Donnie Wahlberg and Chris Spencer and produced in partnership with the LA Phil. D-Nice will be joined by a number of special guests including The Isley Brothers, Common, Trey Songz, Deborah Cox, Amerie, Carl Thomas, Sheila E, Mary Mary, and Kiana Lede. More dates will be announced soon.
“It is a dream come true to be able to bring Club Quarantine to live audiences with my incredible partners, Live Nation Urban and The Hollywood Bowl,” D-Nice said in a statement. “The CQ Family has been partying together and supporting each other from a safe distance for over a year, and I am thrilled we will now be able to celebrate in-person underneath the stars!”
Tickets for the Hollywood Bowl show went on sale today, June 1.
D-Nice’s Club Quarantine Instagram livestreams were attended by more than 160,000 virtual guests including stars including Rihanna, Drake, J. Lo, and Oprah, as well as former first lady Michelle Obama and Senator Bernie Sanders. During the past year he brought Club Quarantine to “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” virtual charity events with Michelle Obama, campaigns for Oprah’s book club and a variety of corporate events, earning D-Nice a 2020 Webby for “Artist of the Year” and the 2020 BET Hip Hop Award for “Best DJ of the Year.” He was also named the 2021 NAACP Entertainer of the Year and featured on the cover of Pollstar’s Innovation Special Issue as the 2020 Artist Innovator.
Last month D-Nice performed at Preakness LIVE at Baltimore’s Pimlico Race Course as part of Preakness 146, marking his biggest in-person performance since the pandemic began. The May 15 event also featured sets from 2 Chainz and Jack Harlow.
The show was a full circle moment for D-Nice and  1/ST – the owners of the Preakness Stakes – as the DJ performed in May 2020 at 1/ST Preakness At Home’s Drive-InfieldFest, the nation’s first full-scale, socially distant drive-in concert. The event was held at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Fla., exclusively for first responders and livestreamed to the rest of the world on YouTube.
