Guns N’ Roses Stadium Shows Are ‘F-in Back’ (With Wolfgang Van Halen As Support)

The one and only Guns N’ Roses have announced rescheduled dates as well as 14 new shows at stadiums and arenas this summer, bringing along Wolfgang Van Halen’s band Mammoth for its touring debut.

Produced by Live Nation, the trek runs July 31 through Oct. 3, with shows at a variety of stadium types including Fenway Park in Boston, MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Comerica Park in Detroit, Banc Of America Stadium in Los Angeles and Wrigley Field in Chicago as well as arenas such as Moda Center in Portland, SAP Center in San Jose and American Airlines Center in Dallas.
These dates are sprinkled around festival appearances including BottleRock Napa Valley in California and Summerfest in Milwaukee.
Along for the ride is Mammoth WVH, the band started by Wolfgang Van Halen, son of legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen. Mammoth WVH’s touring debut comes after the release of the band’s self-titled LP which is due June 11.
The formerly sleeping giant known as GNR came back in a big way with its full original lineup in 2016, with the “Not In This Lifetime Tour” running for major chunks of three years 2016-2018 and into 2019.  The 2017 calendar year saw the band gross just shy of $300 million on 2.67 million tickets on 81 shows, behind only the mighty U2 for that year, while 2018’s mostly European shows grossed another $82 million.
Tickets for new dates go on sale  June 4 at 12 p.m. local time, with rescheduled dates on sale now.
