Graham Williams, co-founder and former owner of Texas-based concert promotion company Margin Walker, has formed Resound, a new concert promotion and talent buying company focused on Central Texas with dozens of shows announced.

Resound is focused on live music booking, marketing, and creative experiences, with dozens of confirmed upcoming shows across Austin and San Antonio and more promised soon. All tickets will be available at resoundpresents.com.
Marquee venue clients include The Mohawk (Austin) and Paper Tiger (San Antonio), and the brand will continue to produce events in rooms of all sizes, such as The Paramount Theatre, Parish, Empire, Antones, ACL Live, The Espee, and more. Upcoming shows include Julien Baker, Greyson Chance, The Mountain Goats, IDLES, Molly Burch, Gary Numan, Levitation fest, Big Freedia, Dan Deacon, Crumb, TV Girl, Alex G, Chicano Batman, comedian Kyle Kinane, City Morgue, The Garden, Gus Dapperton, Beach Bunny, All Them Witches, Bikini Kill, Arlo Parks, Circle Jerks, and more.
Resound also offers creative branding services, partnership consulting  and other services, with the announcement emphasizing a focus on engaging in the local and national community outreach, diversity, and awareness within the scene and beyond. The company will work on various projects around causes it believes in while dedicating a portion of the company’s profits to a different cause each month.
“The shutdown of live events left many of us in the business anxious for a return, but it also has us all re-thinking what we do and how we do it,” said Williams in the announcement. “With Resound, we want to bring back to the scene what we’ve always done best:  throwing badass shows and events while expanding our reach and thinking outside of the box to evolve as a business within our community and culture.”
Williams’ Margin Walker Presents closed in 2020 due to the pandemic. In December, Williams told Pollstar that the company was poised for potentially its most successful year ever when COVID hit in March 2020.  But, he promised to come back when the time was right, and the time appears now.
The Resound team has decades of experience,  headed by owner Williams, who also founded Transmission Events and Fun Fun Fun Festival, and joined by director of talent buying Rosa Madriz, creative director Ian Orth, administrative bookkeeper  Chanel Quinones, marketing manager Gab Soong and digital advertising administrator Zane Ruttenberg.
