UK soul singer and songwriter Joss Stone has signed with ICM Partners for worldwide representation.
It’s an expansion of the existing agreement between the two parties: ICM’s concerts division previously represented Stone in North and South America only.
Stone released her star-making critically acclaimed debut album, The Soul Sessions in 2003. Since then, she has released seven studio albums which have sold over 15 million copies worldwide and won a Grammy Award and two Brit Awards.
Stone has performed alongside legendary artists such as James Brown, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Sting, Van Morrison and Melissa Etheridge amongst many others, and she has collaborated with and contributed to albums for many of the world’s finest musicians, including Jeff Beck, Mick Jagger, and Damien Marley.
Her most recent album, Water for Your Soul, was released in 2015. She recently debuted her first solo single in three years, the gospel-tinged anthem “Walk With Me,” co-written and co-produced by Jonathan Shorten who has worked with Stone since 2004’s platinum-selling Mind Body & Soul album.
Over the past year Stone has launched a successful podcast “A Cuppa Happy,” along with a weekly Facebook Live cooking show “Cooking With Joss,” and in February she won season two of hit competition series The Masked Singer UK. Last month she appeared as a mentor on the latest season of American Idol.
Stone is set to release her eighth studio album this fall, produced by Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart, and she is also making the leap to the big screen with her first voice role, starring opposite Edward Norton in the animated film Paper Birds Pt. 2, which screened at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival.
