Creative Artists Agency has signed New Edition in all areas worldwide, including music touring, theatre, literature, TV/film, production and composing. Today’s announcement notes that CAA has signed all six members: Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill.

Gill joined the legendary R&B group in 1987 and the rest of the members have been a part of New Edition since its start in 1981. New Edition released its debut studio album in 1983 featuring the title track “Candy Girl,” which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart (which is now known as the “Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs” chart).
The group has released seven studio albums and accolades over the years include multiple Soul Train and American Music Awards, along with a BET Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017. That year the BET Network released the three-part biopic “The New Edition Story.”
New Edition will soon be back on the road. The group’s upcoming tour plans include dates in more than 30 arenas across the U.S., along with a Las Vegas residency, according to CAA.

Reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice department include a July 31, 2016, sold-out show at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles that sold 6,665 tickets and grossed $449,655.
