Kane Brown And Manager Martha Earls Confirmed For Aug. 5 Pollstar Live! Digital Session

Recent cover star Kane Brown will join with his manager Martha Earls of EFG Mgmt for a Pollstar Live! digital session on Thursday, Aug. 5.

The conversation is being moderated by Sr. Contributing Editor Holly Gleason and will be streamed live via Pollstar’s Facebook page at 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT here: www.facebook.com/pollstar.
“Kane Brown is the unlikeliest country star – in that he’s all the groups, yet believes he belongs to no single one,” Gleason says. “That sense of wanting people to feel part of community has fired a real commitment to bringing country to new places, even when it means pop collaborations. He’s performed from the Ryman for ‘The BET Awards,’ collaborated with Marshmello on the American Music Awards and Swae Lee and Khalid on the American Music Awards and still finds space for songs squarely aimed at country radio. Smart, committed and seeking to bring people together, he could be the face of country music’s more evolved future.”

Over the last three years, Brown has emerged has perhaps Nashville’s most intriguing breakout. Not only has the biracial songwriter (whose mother is white and father is part Black and part Cherokee) emerged from social media as a superstar who can collaborate with blackbear, Marshmello, DJ Khaled and Swae Lee, as well as established country stars Chris Young and former classmate Lauren Alaina, he has evolved into one of the most dynamic live performers.
After selling out Los Angeles’ Staples Center in 90 minutes in 2019, Brown beat his own record with an 88-minute sellout for his Oct. 2 show at the venue when his “Blessed & Free Tour” tickets went on sale in April. He will be the first country artist to headline a tour with performances at all 29 NBA arenas.
The “Blessed & Free Tour” kicks off Oct. 1 at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, Calif. Fall stops on the routing include Houston’s Toyota Center, Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, New Orleans’ Smoothie King Center and Miami’s AmericanAirlines Arena. The tour continues in January with gigs including New York’s Madison Square Garden, San Francisco’s Chase Center and Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.
Brown’s accolades include 16 RIAA Certifications, five American Music Awards and in April he became the first Black artist to win the Academy of Country Music’s Video of the Year for the come-together song of healing, “Worldwide Beautiful,” which he debuted on “The BET Awards.”
