Foo Fighters Announce Four UK Stadium Dates For Summer 2022

 

“We can’t f*cking wait to get back to the UK,” a statement from Dave Grohl reads, “It’s been far too long. Get ready to make up for lost time with some long ass nights of rock & roll.”

 

The shows kick off at the Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester June 25, 2022. The run includes a date at Birmingham’s Villa Park, June 27, and a return to London Stadium for two concerts, June 30 and July 2.

Support for the dates will come from St Vincent, Courtney Barnett, Shame, Hot Milk and Loose Articles (see below for details).

Following the release of their critically acclaimed #1 album, Medicine At Midnight, earlier this year, Foo Fighters returned to Madison Square Garden for New York’s first full capacity show in more than a year. 

More recently, the band has begun a series of sold-out headline dates as well as a headline set closing out this year’s Lollapalooza festival in Chicago.

Tickets for the UK shows go on general sale this Friday, Aug. 20.

The SJM Concerts promoted UK run follows a series of European dates, including two performances at the Festival de Nimes in France (June 22-23), a show at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid, Spain (June 20), with Liam Gallagher and Amyl & The Sniffers, a performances at the old airfield Tempelhof in Berlin, Germany, (June 8) as well as a headline slot at Nova Rock Festival in Nickelsdorf, Austria (June 10).
