The roundtable was moderated by 2021 Impact 50 Honoree Phil Quist of CAA and recorded at the historic and newly renovated Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The fascinating conversation delved deeply into the careers of each honoree – which varied greatly. This included how each panelist got their footing on the first rung of the live industry’s ladder of success: Wilson, for example, interned at the 300-cap Space in Evanston, Ill.; Scott was a “ringer” on Live Nation’s softball team; Gutierrez took an elective class from a professor who wrote for the show “Cheers;” and Kharazi worked on a street team for a band made of her camp counselors. The traits each of these impressive individuals share, however, is a passion for music, hard work, dedication and smarts enabling them all to quickly ascend in this highly competitive business.

Other topics explored included tent pole moments from the honorees’ careers, pivoting during the pandemic, mentors, the impact of new technologies, and the importance of diversity and inclusion when it comes to the future of the live industry.
