This is the type of plane that’ll transport EDM fans from England to Croatia for Amnesia’s one-week takeover of Zcre Beach.

Promoters Ibiza Underground Movement will be chartering a private Airbus A321 to fly UK revelers to Croatia for Amnesia’s week-long takeover of Zcre Beach on the Island of Pag, Aug. 30-Sept. 5.

DJ’s Seb Zito and Jamie Roy, as well as unannounced special guests, will perform on the flight, which will take ticket holders from London Stansted to Zadar, Croatia.
Croatia is currently on the UK’s Green List of countries, meaning that partygoers won’t need to isolate when returning to the UK, whether they’re vaccinated or not.
Return tickets, including a 7-day VIP ticket for the Amnesia festival at Zcre Beach, start at £649 ($888). It will get you into all of the beach clubs, where a lineup that includes Adam Beyer, Chris Stussy, Cinthie, Claptone, Marco Faraone, Michael Bibi, Patrick Topping, Prunk, Richy Ahmed, Vintage Culture and more will perform.
An option to book an accommodation package on a yacht docked right next to Noa Beach Club, starting at €1,150 ($1,340) has just been added.

Aug. 30-Sept. 5, the famous Ibiza club will take over the island of Pag for a full week.

Neil Evans, music and events director for the Amnesia Ibiza Group, told Pollstar that booking an Airbus for fans is a pretty straight-forward process. “As a club, we hire jets all the time. It just a normal jet company, and we said, ‘Look, do you have anything bigger than, say a 24 seater? And he came up with a number of options all the way up to jumbos.”

The Airbus Ibiza Underground went for in the end, cost some £70,000 ($96,000) to charter. The idea to book a private plane made a lot of sense once traditional airline companies started canceling half-empty flights spontaneously, to consolidate them with other half-empty flights. “The event is 100% going ahead,” Evans said. This way, fans are given an option to attend irrespective of regular flight schedules.
Since the DJs, who are performing on board, are also performing at the festival, it wasn’t hard to book them either, particularly because they will have unique video footage to share on their socials.
This story is another example of promoters taking unusual routes to work around the difficulties posed by the current worldwide situation. “You’ve got to try and be creative to make things happen,” Evans explained, adding, “we were trying to add a flight from Ibiza [to Croatia] as well, but unfortunately we just haven’t had enough time to make it happen. In the future that’s what we’d love to be doing: private planes from more destinations to either Split or Zdar.”
