Superstruct Entertainment Acquires Stake in Festival Travel

British live entertainment powerhouse Superstruct Entertainment acquired an undisclosed stake in Amsterdam-based company Festival Travel for an undisclosed sum.
Festival Travel, by its own admission, is the market leader in Benelux when it comes to organizing festival holidays, including festival trains like the acclaimed Sziget Express, coaches and other travel options.
Being able to offer full travel packages alongside a festival ticket, has become a major sales factor for promoters. Fans, who are all about experiences, make use of comprehensive travel offers.
Ruud Bongaerts, one of the owners of Festival Travel, commented: “It is very valuable to gain the trust of a company of this size. The customer experience has always been central in the way we work and with that we create unique festival summers for tens of thousands of young people every year.
“The past summers were of course also very difficult for us with everything that came out of the corona pandemic, but this new chapter gives us a lot of confidence in the future.”
The parties declined further comment about the content of the agreement.
